This CMS is used primarily for small to middle-size businesses, and includes more powerful SEO capabilities, but recommends security monitoring due to its popularity and vulnerabilities.
Why Squarespace?
For a small business startup website, blog, small e-commerce site with up to 20 products, or looking to try a new idea, Squarespace is everything you need. With this online AI solution, you do not have to pay for separate web hosting or monthly maintenance to keep the website running. Squarespace already manages this for you as part of your monthly membership. This solution is perfect for small budgets, simple to update, and can migrate to WordPress down the road if your business grows. However, Squarespace can have limits on what you want to customize and design, or what to integrate as a custom web solution. Squarespace had 4.2 million subscribers in 2023. Why Shopify?
If you are looking to start selling products online for your store, this is the place if you have over 10 items to list, need inventory, accept payments, and are looking to set up shipping with an optional 3rd party like Pirate Ship or Shipping Station.
